menu design;

This is my cocktail menu design for a vodka bar that I created. It uses the colour blue to represent cold as this is how vodka is best served. Ive also used an image of ice cubes which I photographed myself, this works well within design as it relates to the subject but also fills up some unwanted white space.

This is the shot menu for my vodka bar. I've called it 'Nitro's A-Z Shots' as there is at least one shot for every letter of the alphabet. I have also included the alphabet in the design, highlighting the word nitro but making the letter blue. This then relates to the theme of coldness.

ice photos;

 These are a few of the photo's that i took of ice cubes. I photographed ice as the theme of my vodka bar is cold. This also shows Ive researched into cold objects and are linking them within my work. I will go on to apply these to my designs in order to produce an overall outcome.

69 Sex and Typography Poster

Sex and Typography Poster:
This is my finalised version of Robert Brownjohns book cover. I overlapped the 69 pattern, making the opacity lower so the other is leaking in. I decided on using a light grey background with red and dark grey 69 pattern. I prefer this one over my last as my last was a bit dull.

Sex&Typography Book Cover

69 Cover:
Believe it or not this isn't some 99p cheap dirty porn mag, this is in fact my re-designed version of Robert Brownjohn's graphic design book, Sex & Typography. Using the title as inspiration I wanted to create something that linked to Sex as well as Type. I used the number 69 as they both have something to do with both sex and type. I created this shape by connecting two 69's together.

Mysterious Opie Man Spotted Again

Opie Man strikes again:
This is the e-fit image the police have released for the mysterious 'Opie Man' that has been sited on rooftops, hovering over the city and cleaning up the police's f**k ups.
One eye witness, that cannot be named for confidentiality reasons said 'I saw him standing on my balcony, his eyes were all black, his bird like hands were clinging onto the sides of my house. He then turned to me, let out a huge squeak before rapidly flying off into the night with his giant black feathered wings'.
The police did investigate into the accusations and eventually found the culprit, who was the neighbours pet bird. In size comparison, the bird was around 30 times smaller than what the women described, but she then admitted to 'scoffing' a whole lunchbox worth of magic mushrooms.

So who is this man/bird? who knows.

Peter Pan - the flying green man

 Narrative Project:
 These are the silhouettes that i created for my final scenes. I did this by taking photos of my sister, her boyfriend, my brother and my step-sister. I then drew around them on illustrator using the pen tool and filled them in black.
I decided to do the narrative play/story on Peter Pan, but instead of the nice Peter Pan everyone knows, I changed it to a twisted version using quotes which could be scene as two meanings.
This is my first scene for my project. This shows Peter forcing Wendy to go with him by dragging her to the window. I used a quote which could be interrupted in two ways, a nice way or a more twisted way.

This is my final scene, showing Hook about to be eaten by the crocodile.

Oil Onion and Pepper Pastel

Onion:
This is a oil pastel drawing of this sexy onion. Its purple tanned skin enlightened my artistic ability to produce what i believe as a observation studied portrait of this very fine onion.
The onion shows its inner beauty and innocence by revealing itself in its naked form. Whilst its skin stays well intact, the onion's tender soul reaches out to your tender heart.

Pepper:
This is a oil pastel drawing of a fiery red pepper. Its dark warm skin makes you question his sanity, as it looks as if mr pepper could explode with glorious fury at any point in time.
His fierce green stork, aggressively grows from the top of his head, leaving a sense of confusion from many of the vegetable community.
